I actually just got done watching the Apple keynote from last week. Up to this point, I too was skeptical about the potential of the iPad, but after watching the keynote, I actually do see a new, never before tapped market and some futuristic concepts coming into play here. I have to say that, while I still won't be totally sold on it until I get my hands on one at the store, I am feeling a little more optimistic about the whole iPad ecosystem. I think it has a future, but time will tell. :) But I assure you the oversized iPod touch idea is only on the surface. It's only the beginning to what this thing is capable of.

Chrome is definitely a better option, thank you! Basically anything that isn't IE is just fine in my book :) And I won't even get started on Windows 7. :P lol

I am not too impressed by the iPad. No usb support? No OSX or anything like that. From what I understand it is just a glorified oversized iPhone/iPod Touch. I will admit, I like the iPod Touch and hopefully someday they are closer in my budget.

As for Microsoft. I use Windows 7 with Google Chrome as my browser. I am not pleased with Internet Explorer and have fallen in love with the speed and functionality of Chrome. As for Windows 7, This too I love and is in my opinion, the best OS Microsoft has released.

But for once Matthew, I agree with you.. Get rid of IE6. It's about time.

Hi my name is Rachael, I was on the jv team last year for 2008 and 2009 and lacey was my cheer coach, a best friend and like a big sister. she taught me everything from staying tight when i dance to the relationship with my boyfriend. she took care of me like i was her little sister or something and she gave out so much care to everyone. I remember sleeping at her hosue the night before a competition WE DROVE IN INSANE but i know she loved it. She was a great coach and person, she would run with us during conditioning or when she would yell at us i remember she would BUST OUT laughing 2 seconds later. I remember when we threw french fries at her because she was so crabby, and 2 seconds later she was laughing at us. I remember her just always smiling. And i know i am not the first to say that is what to remeber about lacey. there is so much to remember of this amazing woman. Its hard for me, but i think of her family and her boyfriend. I do know that Lacey is done suffering in a hospital bed, she is flying so high above us doing exactly what she did here with us. she is smiling and she is helping us through each day. She was a very strong girl, emotionally and physically. I remember she told me once; Rachael things happen for a reason, just go with the flow and smile. I will now carry that forever. Lacey was someone to look up to, a great role model. I wanted to be just like lacey, always smiling, always strong, and committed. She had it all going for her, a great job, a good cheer team, a Great boyfriend and a loving family. I remember when i visited her in the hospital before i left on foriegn exchange for italy this year, and me adn danielle made a HUGE sign for her, and she lit up like a big firework so bright and happy. Lacey though is forever in our hearts, we all should stay strong for her, thats the way she would want it. She loves each of you i am sure, and i think i can say for us all that she was loved and still is by us.. Keep her in your heart and she will never leave.

Thanks

Wow, what an amazing "blog". I met Lacey at St. Vinnies as a parent. My kids went to school together with her and her siblings. I met her mom through Grandma Virgie and through the many volunteer hours we spent together. This family is one of the most heartfelt, giving families that my eyes have seen in their many years. Lacey always made my heart smile. She had the most unique pool break I have ever seen and she had so much power behind that break. That is how I see her fighting for her life, powerful. God has gotten one strong angel with him now. And the pool team in heaven just got an awesome player. Your giggle and twinkle will be missed her on earth, but it will be one thing I look forward to hearing and seeing again someday.

I've known Lacey since kindergarten and I remember having sleepover/craft parties at her house; making Christmas and Halloween decorations! I still have a few of them and they always remind me of those days. I also remember playing basketball and volleyball and I remember performing in our middle school musical in 7th grade. Then, senior year, we had a class together and we always reminisced about the "good old days of St. Vinnies!" She always had a giggle and a twinkle in her eye!! She will be missed!

Matt...what a great thing to do for such a beautiful girl. Although Lacey is gone from this earth she is in all our hearts. I will always remember being on cheer squad with Lacey our freshmen year of high school and she was a true "cheerleader", not only for games, but in life. You couldn't help but to laugh and smile when you were around her. Her love for life and optimistic attitude was contagious and that proves that she is a true angel. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. God Bless all of you!

Matt my relationship also was like yours and Adam F. I would occasionally see her. Her trademark of smile and friendly conversations always brought me joy and when we had to part our ways at the end of the conversation, I would always walk away feeling happier, had more ambition and just overall fellt a whole lot better. She has touched my life and I thank God I was able to know her as much as I did. Matt I am very sorry for yours and the rest of the families loss. God Bless each and everyone of you. Lacey and your family are in my prayers.

Matt, I had the same relationship with Lacey as you did. Not out with her all the time, and not family, but I can remember the times I would randomly run into her in town. She would get a big smile on her face like she hadn't seen me in forever and run up and give me a big hug. She would then proceed to want to know everything I've done since i had seen her last. She was an amazing woman and I will never forget her! My prayers are with you and her family. May Lacey rest in peace, and look over us with that beautiful smile until someday we join her again in heaven.

Very touching, soultouching blog, Matt. Lacey is indeed in Heaven with Jesus and will be a guardian angel to us all until we all meet once again in the Heavenly Kingdom. Her presence on earth was so meaningful to all in so many ways. Her infectious smile touched everyone.
May God give peace to all the Laskowski family during this difficult time. Peace & Love
