Are you one of the many people who feel left in the dark because you can’t tell the difference between RAM (computer memory) and a Ram (an animal with weird horns)? Is all the computer lingo and tech jargon making you feel like you should be the Flintstones’ neighbors (stuck in the stone age)? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

For those of you who have followed Jabloggy in the past, you’ll remember my last blog post (on the old site) mentioned it was time for a change and that I needed to find a better purpose for Jabloggy. For those of you who have never been here before, disregard that last message. Jabloggy has never existed. It’s brand new. And if you’re here to learn about technology in as plain English as possible, you should bookmark this baby (and if you don’t know how to use the bookmark feature on your browser, click on the Ask Jabloggy button above, tell me about it and I’ll cover it as soon as humanly possible ).

If you’re like a lot of the non-techie peoplez I know, you can now breathe a sigh of relief that someone from the tech world has finally wised up and decided to help those that are left behind find answers and learn a little something about this century’s tech goodness. Now you will be able to grasp some basic concepts and learn what sets MySpace apart from MyHole-In-The-Ground.

Before Jabloggy begins educating you fine folks out there, I’d like to give you a brief explanation of how this site is laid out. On a regular basis, you will be able to read new articles (or blog posts, as we call them nowadays) on the home page of this site. Articles are organized by categories, which will appear up above this content and below the Jabloggy logo (where it says “Web Stuff”). Other categories (besides “Web Stuff”) might include computer hardware, computer software, basic web skills, mobile devices, and more. I will write articles that I come up with myself, however I will also be accepting questions from you, my readers, and answering them in the occasional blog post to share your question and answer with everyone who comes to Jabloggy for enlightenment.

As an FYI, we will begin posting articles and answers to your questions in July.
